Job Description

Introduction

The core purpose of the role is to formulate and execute an Automotive and Logistics Stakeholder Management strategy that ensures that stakeholders always have a positive impression and experience with Automotive and Logistics business.
Furthermore, to ensure that the Office of the CEO consistently develop relationships with critical stakeholders, promoting the Automotive and Logistics as a business that inspires a world of difference in our stakeholder's lives. Leads communications and stakeholder engagement, including the provision of high quality and responsive information for stakeholder, and develops approaches to engagement, collaboration, and innovation that create improved value for the business. Provide strategic support to the Divisional Executive Business Enablement and Innovation in executing mandate of the Office of the CEO and the portfolio.

Specification

  • Develop an appropriate strategy for the effective management of relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Executives on Office of the COE client strategic engagements and facilitate for major or critical issues response.
  • Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic, tactical and operational stakeholder engagement plans, programs, projects and initiatives to align with Automotive and Logistics' vision and strategy
  • Plan and lead the implementation of integrated stakeholder engagement programs and initiatives to inspire a world of difference and enhance the perceptions and experiences of our employees, customers and broader stakeholders and communities.
  • Lead specific stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue and other forms of engagement to understand key concerns and issues and inform review and enhancement of solutions, services and experience delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships to exchange information with client groups, community, other levels of government and other stakeholders to inform strategic and operational decisions related to programs and services that serve all.
  • Consistently look for and advising on opportunities to enhance and grow Automotive and Logistics' reputation.
  • Ensure overall integration of communication and engagement strategies with Group and critical company developments.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement across a complex diverse group of stakeholders with varying interests on and relationship with the business.
  • Applying innovative and diverse communication channels including the proactive adoption of digital and social media opportunities.
  • Achieving a balance between strategic ongoing investments in client engagement and the need for immediate response to urgent unplanned issues.
  • Collaborate with senior management in Business Enablement and Innovation to deliver the broader mandate of the Office of the CEO and broader mandate of the portfolio.

Requirements

  • An Honours degree in Marketing and/or Public Relations/Affairs/ Business Administration
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 Years engaging at Executive Level
  • Influencing external stakeholders and community leaders at all levels
  • A Master's degree in Marketing and/or Public Relations/Affairs/ Business Administration
  • Good general understanding of political and regulatory issues
  • Deep understanding of industry stakeholders issues
  • Professional understanding of stakeholder engagement, relations and management
  • Understanding of the role of Stakeholder Engagement in the CEO's Office
  • Sound understanding of knowledge management
