To prepare Commercial Property Finance (CPF) transactions for new and existing business as received from the Specialist, Commercial Property Finance for Business and Commercial customers in PBB SA.
To conduct annual CPF portfolio reviews for clients that have a CPF facility.
Receives all relevant documentation and proposed deal structure from Specialist, CPF. This may include:
New to bank CPF deals
Any lending facility for CPF transactions
Reviews documentation and identifies any missing information - contacts client to supply relevant information e.g. valuation documents.
Drafts the credit application and submits to Specialist, CPF for vetting prior to onwards submission to Credit. Credit application preparation includes:
Risk mitigation identification
Primary sources of repayment
Collate deed searches, etc.
Where required, prepares indicative term sheets or facility letters and submits to client for acceptance prior to legal document finalisation.
Acts as liaison between the bond attorney, the client, and the Account Executive, thereby ensuring that all documents are proactively collected to ensure bond registration and payout.
Ensures that all items on the application check-list are signed off by the relevant parties and follows up with client on all post-condition fulfilment (e.g. any outstanding documents).
Updates the deal pipeline with all relevant information.
Manages transaction execution until disbursement of funds - keeps client informed of progress.
Provides input to the Specialist, CPF in identifying new opportunities and sourcing new business to achieve agreed budgets for new and existing business targets as provided by the allocated province.
Conducts annual reviews on existing CPF portfolios to ensure that all contract conditions with the client are adhered to. Alerts Credit (or Account Executive where applicable) of any breaches for them to action accordingly.
Identifies any refinancing opportunity during the annual review, and raises this with the Specialist, CPF Consultant, who will then contact the client.
Anticipates annual reviews to be performed on customers and conducts review accordingly.
Prepares relevant reporting (including exposures) as input into further reporting. Reporting includes:
Current limits and market limits etc.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Business Commerce Degree
3-4 years Experience in processing CPF transactions with particular focus on preparing credit applications and annual reviews. Experience in different types of property finance transactions e.g. investor versus owner-occupied transactions. Experience and knowledge of credit and compliance matters relating to CPF transactions. Experience in commercial real estate property valuations would be an advantage.
